At what age are children allowed on the boat?

We accept children aged six months and older.

Are life jackets mandatory?

Life jackets are mandatory for anyone under 16 years old. Life jackets are available on the boat if required.

Can bookings be cancelled if the weather is bad?

You cannot cancel neither re-schedule your booking.
In case of bad weather (cloudy skies, wind, rain or chilly conditions) each boat is equipped with a waterproof arbor and we can provide you for free some sailor jacket.

What does the hiring process involve once arrived at the site?

After you have made your booking you will need to sign your hire agreement.
You must have some form of identification with you as well as a means of paying the mandatory deposit of €300 per boat (card or cheque deposits will not be charged/cashed).

We will be taking a baby on board with us. Do we need to count the baby as a passenger?

Yes, a baby is regarded as a person, no matter how young.

Can we eat and drink on the boat?

Yes, you can eat and drink on the boat. You can bring your own drinks (tables can be provided on both our seven and eleven person boats for an additional charge of €10).
However, we can provide aperitif, picnic or birthday hampers. These contain locally produced items and are excellent! Please order them in advance.

What are the opening and closing times?

We are open from 9:00 am till 10:00 pm every day, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays!

Can we book at the site?

Bookings can be made by internet, telephone or at the site.
Bookings are only recorded once payment has been made.
The booking service is available from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. Outside these times bookings cannot be made.

Can we hire a boat if there are less than five of us?

Yes, certainly. We have three different types of boat, the smallest of which being the five person model. The stipulated number of places for each model is the maximum allowed.

Is it possible to stop along the way for a picnic?

You can moor up at Parc Bergère or Parc de la Villette and picnic, as long as you take the key with you and keep an eye on the boat. We recommend you do not leave any personal items on board.

Is it possible to leave the boat at another drop off point?

No, we have just the one site: our premises at 37, Quai de la Seine, Paris 19e. You must manage your time to ensure you can complete the round trip.

What range do the boats have?

The boats have a large enough range to allow you to complete your trip. Steps are taken before your departure to ensure you will not experience a break down!

Can we go through canal locks?

Due to their small size, we do not currently allow our boats to be taken through the locks. Therefore, the Canal Saint Martin stretch is closed (for the moment) and you cannot go beyond the lock at Parc de la Poudrerie.

Once the booking has been made, what is the procedure at the site?

We advise you to arrive 15 minutes ahead of time, in good spirits and ready to have an enjoyable time. We will need you to sign a hire agreement and we will take a deposit of €300 per boat, which can be provided by cheque or card (an imprint only: no debit will be made).

Are dogs allowed on board?

Small and medium sized dogs are allowed on board!
