6 hours itinerary

For 6 hours of navigation you will be allowed to sail out of the Bassin de la Villette and navigate along the Canal de l’Ourcq to reach the Sevran’s lock. You can only schedule this stroll aboard the SCOOP (7 people boat) and the MOST (11 people boat).
During this cruise, you can cross the lifting Crimée Bridge and ride through the Parc de la Villette, get ahead the Great Pantin Flour Mills and the Former Customs House, sail across the Bergère Park to finally reach Sevran’s lock near the Poudrerie’s Park.

This length is ideal for a turn to green stroll with your familly, your lover or your friends! Once arrived up to the Bergère park, you could moor your ship on the dedicated docks and land for a picnic in the green grass. Sailing up the canal starts in the middle of Paris. After discovering the Rotonde Ledoux (an historical gate of Paris) on the Bassin de la Villette, you will meet the Crimée lifting Bridge (the last lifting bridge of Paris). It lifts up every 30 minutes from 9:15AM till 9:15PM. After crossing this bridge, you could navigate along the Parc de la Villette where you can see the Géode. It was inaugurated on May the 6th of 1985. You will reach the Pantin Great Flour Mills, an industrial flour mill created in 1884.

Continuing 1 kilometre away, you could see the Former Customs House, a historic classified French monument abandoned in the 20th century to become the headquarter of the Street Art: you can admire works of art from Da Cruz, Artof or Popof, etc. Then, you will reach the Bergère Park that offers you various landscapes: Green knolls, slopes, swan, ducks and swallows, etc. The closer you get from the Sevran’s lock (the U-turn point), the more those landscapes a getting green and bucolic. Total escape for a turn to green ensured!
