You can rent our boats from 1 hour to 1 day.

According to your tastes and wishes, you can enjoy composed of 40 kilometers of navigable waterway: The Bassin de la Villette, The Canal Saint Martin, the Canal de l’Ourcq.

However Marin D’eau Douce will give you advice on our custom-made itineraries, from our base, according to your requirements, your navigation abilities and the distance of your trip.

1-hour itinerary:

During that hour of navigation, you can enjoy the Bassin de la Villette. It is a pond located between the Canal Saint-Martin and the Canal de l’Ourcq. The Bassin de la Villette is the starting point of every Marin d’Eau Douce’s cruise. On this 1 kilometre pond you will be able to navigate from the Rotonde Stalingrad up to the Crimée Bridge. During this 1-hour stroll the navigation area is limited by these borders. In one hour, you can’t sail out of the Bassin de la Villette.

Itinerary Bassin de la Villette

2-hour itinerary:

For 2 hours of navigation, you will be allowed to sail out of the Bassin de la Villette and reach the Canal de l’Ourcq. According to the size of the boat and thus its speed different itineraries are possible:

  • Aboard the ACE (5 people boat) you can pass in front of the Rotonde Ledoux (a historic gate of Paris), the Former Magasins Généraux and sail under the lifting Crimée Bridge. Then you may navigate until the Parc de la Villette, The Géode and the Great Pantin Flour Mills.
  • Aboard the SCOOP (7 people boat) or the MOST (11 people boat) you can also pass in front of the Rotonde Ledoux, the Former Magasin Généraux and sail under the lifting Crimée Bridge. Finally, you will navigate through the Parc de la Villette (where you can see the Cité des Sciences, the Géode, the Great Pantin Flour Mills, etc.) and continue your cruise on the canal getting ahead of the Dance National Center to reach the Former Customs House. It’s a pleasant urban trip allowing you to see many industrial buildings and National Memorials of Paris.

Itinerary Géode-Pantin

3-hour itinerary:

For 3 hours of navigation, you will be allowed to sail out of the Bassin de la Villette and reach the Canal de l’Ourcq. According to the size of the boat and thus its speed different itineraries are possible:

    • Aboard the ACE (5 people boat) you can pass in front of the Rotonde Ledoux (a historic gate of Paris), the Former Magasins Généraux and sail under the lifting Crimée Bridge. Then you will navigate through the Parc de la Villette (where you can see the Cité des Sciences, the Géode, the Great Pantin Flour Mills, etc.) and continue your cruise on the canal getting ahead of the Dance National Center to reach The Former Customs House. Itinerary park Bergère

A half-day itinerary :

For 4 hours of navigation, you will be allowed to sail out of the Bassin de la Villette and reach the Canal de l’Ourcq. According to the size of the boat and thus its speed different itineraries are possible:

  • Aboard the ACE (5 people boat) you can pass in front of the Rotonde Ledoux, the Former Magasin Généraux and sail under the lifting Crimée Bridge. Then, you will navigate through the Parc de la Villette (where you can see the Cité des Sciences, the Géode, the Great Pantin Flour Mills, etc.) and continue your cruise on the canal getting ahead of the Dance National Center and the Former Customs House to reach the Bergère Park where you could moor for a short break.
  • Aboard the SCOOP (7 people boat) or the MOST (11 people boat) you can also pass in front of the Rotonde Ledoux, the Former Magasin Généraux and sail under the lifting Crimée Bridge. Finally, you will navigate through the Parc de la Villette (where you can see the Cité des Sciences, the Géode, the Great Pantin Flour Mills, etc.) and continue your cruise on the canal getting ahead of the Dance National Center and the Former Customs House to reach the Bergère Park where you could moor for a 1-hour break.

➜ 30 km Trip(Round-trip) which takes around 4 hours.

A full-day itinerary :

For 6 hours of navigation you will be allowed to sail out of the Bassin de la Villette and navigate along the Canal de l’Ourcq to reach the Sevran’s lock. You can only schedule this stroll aboard the SCOOP (7 people boat) and the MOST (11 people boat).
During this cruise, you can cross the lifting Crimée Bridge and ride through the Parc de la Villette, get ahead the Great Pantin Flour Mills and the Former Customs House, sail across the Bergère Park to finally reach Sevran’s lock near the Poudrerie’s Park.

We advise you a few strolls aboard our electric self-drive boats to enjoy the canals’ tranquillity.
Our electric self-drive boats rental base is located on the Bassin de la Villette (in front of the 37, quai de la Seine, 75019, PARIS) between the MK2 cinemas and Flandre footbridge.
